This is something I put together. I'm hoping to get a good turn out, so you guys can help me out. Spread the word. So far there are about 30 people planning to attend. Show up, hang out, and have some fun. Feel free to bring your fun cars, don't care if they aren't euro.


May 10th -12 (noon) till whenever (7pm latest)

Falls Lake State Park
13304 Creedmoor Rd., Wake Forest, NC 27587

There is a $5 parking fee for this state park.

Facility: Shelter #4, one 12-table picnic shelter.
Location: Sandling Beach
Accommodates: Up to 100 people.
Nearby Amenities: Hiking trails, mountain bike trails (Beaverdam only), fishing, swimming, drinking water and restrooms


So, there is a catch to having a large gathering. To reserve a shelter and area for cooking for a large group is going to run $85+. So, everyone is going to have to throw down $5.


What needs to be brought:
Lighter Fluid
Coal
Meat
Bread
Chips
other Snacks
Fruits and Vegetables
Games and activities

This can be either eat what you brought, or bring stuff to share. There will be some food there.

^^you can park the boat right next to it. there is a swimming area right in front so you'll have to park next to it. if you put in at upper barton it'll probably take you a half hour to get to sandling beach by boat. the hwy 50 launch ramp is right around the corner from it, though.

^yep. if you put in at upper barton, hang a left where you go back under highway 98 and just keep on gettin it down the main channel. you'll come up to the beach on your right where the lake opens back up some.
