5/1/2008 11:14:03 PM
ha, this must have been the "controversial photos" they were talking about on the preview for the 10:00 news.
5/1/2008 11:47:55 PM
controversial?wow. slow news day
5/2/2008 12:37:00 AM
looks like he's gonna take out the side of the pool, and how do they not get hurt in a 4' pool
5/2/2008 1:04:39 AM
5/2/2008 1:13:59 AM
controversial? no. just stupid. kids have opportunities most ppl would kill for, i just don't see the sense in taking a chance like that. i'm all for jokin around or whatever, but there's a limit. and yes, i'd say this about any D1 college athlete.[Edited on May 2, 2008 at 3:11 AM. And as far as this being his fourth year, people need to recognize it's technically his fifth year in college. He was not a true freshman when he came to Chapel Hill.
5/2/2008 3:14:56 AM
^how so?
5/2/2008 8:05:27 AM
I thought he was a year older because he got held back at some point because of his learning disability, but I'm pretty sure he's only been in college 3 years.
5/2/2008 8:28:33 AM
Loved Tony talking about his "effort" falling into the pool.
5/2/2008 9:12:53 AM
any photoshop minds out there for these pictures?
5/2/2008 12:06:03 PM
he actually jumped way off line and wouldve hit the ground instead of the water, but he willed himself back to the proper trajectory

someone got a hand on him so he made it into the pool
5/2/2008 1:28:43 PM
^^^^^^I always thought he went to junior college for a year or something.I'd like to know what year he was held back cause I doubt it had anything to do with his learning disability.
5/2/2008 2:53:18 PM
I think you're right, but wikipedia does not have any info on it and that's as far as I'm willing to look
5/2/2008 3:23:12 PM
no, he didn't go to junior college.[Edited on May 2, 2008 at 3:26 PM. Reason : i don't think he preped either.]
5/2/2008 3:25:45 PM
he's just really old
5/3/2008 6:44:14 AM
it took him an extra year to get the acc minimum sat score
5/3/2008 10:26:54 AM

5/3/2008 1:15:49 PM
treetwista and chudi won the thread with the hilarity
5/3/2008 1:46:43 PM
hansbrough's dad reclassified him when he moved from public to private school in high school. this is done to give kids an extra year to play in high school/mature their game if need be. it is becoming a pretty common thing to do, especially with overbearing parents likes hansbrough's
