I got a PS3 yesterday and was trying to set it up on my TV. I have a 60" Sony Grand Wega w/SXRD 1080p with 2 HDMI inputs. I set everything up and it works ok but there is one thing I can't figure out. When I go to configure the settings, the maximum resolution the PS3 can find is 1080i. I tried to go and enter it manually, and it does that whole 30 seconds of blank TV then goes back to the previous setting. It made me wonder if I actually bought a 1080p television.I went back and double checked my receipt on the TV, it was 1080p.The only thing that could possibly be a problem is my HDMI cables. Is it possible that my cables could be possibly damaged somehow or maybe only allow up to 1080i resolution and not offer 1080p? It's just weird and doesn't make any sense, and it kinda makes me feel crappy cause I spent a lot of money yesterday buying that system only to find out I can't get the maximum resolution I paid for.any thoughts?? Thanks
