I hated Soul Train as a child. You'd be watching cartoons and it was all good. Then as one cartoon was supposed to transition into another you'd hear "SOULLLLLLL TRAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!" and see that damn cartoon train dancing across the screen. That's when you knew the dream was over and you were going to have to put on some clothes and go outside.
