Does anyone know where I can get these? I have a saab 9-3 aero and have been told it takes a d2s bulb. They sell them on ebay for around 70/pair and the dealer wants to charge me 300 per bulb to put in. Is it really that difficult/dangerous?Thanks

Do it yourself. Just make sure you DO NOT touch the glass on the bulb.

it would be good if you did, but unnecessary.maybe you shouldn't be doing this yourself.if it's anything like mine, there is a plastic plate with a screw that you have to remove.unscrew the securing ring around the bulb, remove and replace in reverse order.

its got a rubber sleeve over the ballast which i think is what i unscrew to get at the light

if you want to do this yourself, pick up a chiltons manual, and it will give you the run down on it.

does the manual say anything about not drinking and driving and totaling your car?

divinguy04-You could also order the bulb, and then pay one of us a few bucks to put it in for you.

i am curious, why do you need a replacement bulb? they are rated to last quite a long time. unless you had water get in the headlight housing.

bulb went pink at first then went out completely. they are the original bulbs from when the car was manufactured

make sure there isn't a leak, then replace the bulb.also hook up the bulb to the other working side and test.just to be sure.[Edited on May 1, 2008 at 12:07 PM. Reason : e]
