I am looking for a specific color pinstriped dress shirt with a white collar and white cuffs. Before I head out on a lengthy hunt, what are some good recommendations for quality clothings. A couple people recommend Joseph Banks in Cameron Village. Stores with professional shopping assistants are preferred.

Go to any good mall around and look for a J. Crew or Banana Republic store. Go in there and find yourself a good button down shirt that fits well and looks great.Be sure to look at the sale rack and find one at a good price. DON'T spend 40 bucks on a shirt just because it looks fancy. I have gotten some really nice dress shirts at the 25 dollar range. Also, make sure it fits right. Ask someone there and they will tell you frankly.Oh, I disagree with the recommendation of going to Brooks Brothers because they are way to expensive. You don't have to throw down 100 bucks on a shirt to look good. That's just ridiculous.

I disagree... we arent talking about a tuck in with some khaki's to go to target shirt... spending $100 on a really nice dress shirt for a suit isnt that bad and will last forever

Kannons (it's out in Wendell, though)

Well, if you really want to spend that much and if it makes you feel good then fine. But still, don't get a shirt with a logo or whatever on the colar. That looks tacky.

Brooks Brothers has light blue, french blue, pin, and yellow with the white collar/cuffss. My boyfriend loves them and the quality is unbeatable. They're 3/$200 right now

What's so great about br? They don't offer fitted shirts...meaning by neck and sleeve length....Granted their shirts aren't fitted for old men, but at the stores listed above, they offer several cuts.[Edited on April 27, 2008 at 2:31 AM. Reason : ]
