b/c you people dont know what you are talking about. there is no easy fix to how the code was written. Jake didnt leave the new guys with much to work off of when theres problems.

we all remember how long it would take crazyj to get back to the mods and fix TWW's problems. nael has to wait for him also if there is something that they can not fix.

its not like nael can google the problem for a quick fix. sure, it was a bad move to take over this site w/out enough guidance to fix any and everything but if i were a betting man i would say that they really didnt know what they were getting in to with this type of site.

furthermore there is only a handful of TWWers that I would trust to handle this type of help. evan, im not sure you would be one of those people.

thanks man, that really makes me feel great. i just figured i'd offer my talents - if no one wants me to help, then so be it.

people expect some sort of customer service for things that they pay for, even on tww. if i had known how bad the site was going to get, i would have not renewed my premie membership. there are a lot of other premies that feel the same way.

it's kinda sad that you're turning down help from members who are effectively losing money by helping.

it probably doesn't matter to nael or anysome of the mods, but unless something changes, you won't be seeing my $10 next quarter.

if you're talking about the EMS stuff, that's because i had (and still have) a medical problem that prevented me from doing all that. i'm on speed now, so it's not as much as a problem as it was before, and i started volunteering with a new squad (who, i might add, thought the way my old squad handled this whole thing was completely uncalled for) less than two weeks after i left my old squad.

tww radio is the only significant thing i can think of that i've "never finished." if you have more examples, please let me know what they are.

and yes, you're right, currently, i don't "have the time." that's why i said i'd do it this summer. summer starts for me in about a week (when classes and exams are over). my teaching gig stops on may 6th. i'll have loads more time then, and would be more than happy to help out with this.

yes, title search has been broken since the server crash, and it's working again. post search hasn't worked in 3-4 years, and now it does. i'm not sure where you're getting this "nothings fixed" thing from. i'd bet photos will be fully functional soon now that search is out of the way.

If we got the people to fix it then let them do it. Why am I paying for image hosting when well over half my pictures are gone. I completely understand the code is a mess and Nael can't figure it out, but I'm going to give him 2 more weeks before I complain some more. This site is falling apart.
