Obviously a high-risk very high reward scenario for the cowboys.

The titans are still building, so I guess a 4th round pick is better than nothing.

Actually with the Cowboys roster as it is now, a fourth round pick would have a hard time making the team. The risk is risk is further mitigated by the fact that if he is not reinstated, Dallas gets an unannounced pick back from the Titans next year. Jones has agreed to a restructured contract with zero guaranteed dollars at 4 years.
