I've heard of rear bumper speed holes letting the air flow out from under the rear subframe area kind of like a rear valence, hakinda sounds like a drive-with-the-tailgate-down thing[Edited on April 23, 2008 at 12:34 PM. Reason : ]

I do know they aren't actual holes. Just cosmetic. The Volvo has a front license plate that says 'Let me tell you about my grandchildren'

I just realized that car has ICW 5-star rims, a gaudy chrome license plate frame, and smoke headlight covers...And you're asking why it has holes in the fender.Some people just do that kind of crap.

I saw a black 240sx (a s14 kouki no less) with stick on vents that were on sideways on the hood. I died a little bit inside.

they actually hold a purpose, if they are legit, being ventilation for the cylinders. the best is when you see a guy that has 3 on each side but the car is obviously a 4 cylinder.
