So my nano (one of the new ones) has frozen.I heard there's a way you can "reset" it by toggling the hold button and pressing down another button...but I've tried several different combinations and haven't gotten any luck.Any other suggestions? I'm trying not to go to the "send it back to Apple" route. I've had it for about 6 months.

i cant believe you came to tww before you went to the help section on apple.combecause there's no way you went to apple.com and still came here to post that

Actually just did go to apple.com....did what they said do...and its still frozen (before your post). So my thread is still valid...but probably for only an hour as I'm about to go have it sent off.

are you in Raleigh, or near an Apple Store?if it is frozen and <1 year old, they will replace it on the spot. i assume you read this http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61705

Yep...that's what I read. Although it's kind of difficult to do on a nano. And not in Raleigh...in Charleston. We're actually getting an apple store in about a month...but that doesn't help much right now. I wish I could just take it back to the store, get store credit, and get a touch. This nano is almost full anyways.Fuck.
