I'm asking $250, not negotiable. The necklace is 14k and measures 18". The basketball charm is gold plated the best I can tell and probably of little value (The $250 will include the charm but no value has been added because of it). To make a long story short, I don't even wear jewelry anymore and really just want the money. The necklace is in perfect condition as well as the charm. I did take the chain to a jeweler and it weighs 17.1 grams (the weight of the chain alone without the charm attached). The chain is called a diamond cut rope and has a barrell locking clasp. I saw an almost identical chain for sale at Reed's Jewelers for over $900 retail (although it was 20" long and mine is 18"). Also, while I was in Reed's, they cleaned the chain for me so it is nice and sparkling. I am willing to meet someone at a jewelery store to verify it's legit and get it apraised (sp?), but I don't want to travel far. I have already been offered $200 by a retail jeweler, so price in not negotiable. I would prefer to sell it at a great price to an individual than "give" it to a retailer that would simply buy it at $200, and slap a $500 or more price tag on it. Please, serious inquiries only. Yeah. Imagine someone buying a gold chain and then deciding to sell it. That's about how shady it is.

Too bad gold doesn't have serial numbers. It's okay to buy gold, but don't ever try to sell it.
