Have allergies, but not suffering.

Allegra is the shit. I forgot to take it for 2 days in a row last week and it was bad.

the docs told me i would have to take meds the rest of my life (to 10% in the amount of shit i was allergic too). I stopped taking them after I graduated to test that theory, and so far I only take the meds once in a blue moon. Even when it is terrible outside I rarily have issues (only watery eyes). Maybe part of it is I am a runner and my body has gotten use to it. I stockpiled the allegra d before I graduated and still have a shit ton of it.

way way back when i took allergy shots, once a week, then once every two weeks, then once a month, then i finally stopped having to do them. That probably helped me with the allergies not affecting me much anymore...plus, guys tend to grow out of them while girls they get worse with age.

i was outside for 20 minutes this morning to wash my car

the following 30 minutes were hades

AlleRX: havent taken in a couple weeks because i have just a few samples. back when i took it, the pollen wasnt very apparent outside yet (in charlottesville where im at). it really dries your mouth and nasal cavity.

Singulair: if i stay inside i only have 2-3 sneezing sprees a day

Flonase: ^

Prednisone: The true thing that helps me. But it is a helluva drug and the prescription only lasts 7 days, so I have to wait till the peak of the pollen season to take it. I haven't started this one yet this year.

Superior, meaning more than normal? As in trisomy 21?

Yeah i had allergy shots for like 8 years of my life. You can never tell if they actually helped or if i just grew out of them. Like i grew out of a lot of allergies (mosquito bites, poisen ivy, cat dander) but i will never know if it was the allergy shots or just growing up.

I never had allergy problems growing up, but the past couple years have progressively gotten worse. I got pink eye from the shit this year.

As for sinuses . . . I'm normally fine during the day but get all stuffy at night. Makes it hard to sleep sometimes.

I was miserable today!

Twas my own fault though. I didn't take a claritin, nor did I wear a face mask when I was mowing the dirt lot (it has little bits of grass and crap on it that I was cutting/clearing out) at my dad's investment property. If I blow my nose, dirt comes out.

I'm feeling a little better as it slowly clears out though. Wear face masks when cutting the grass peoples! It works, but it makes you look like somebody from the health department who's coming to take away somebody's kids.

heard that...

Zyrtec makes the allergies go away (for me anyway) but dang that stuff knocks me OUT. I take like 3 hour naps when on that stuff. However I only have to take 1-2 times per week. Good stuff.
