It was somewhat of an abbreviated set but still pretty solid...was my first Roots show. I think their sound would have been better at an indoor venue but it was still rowdy as hell. Only bad part was these fucking dookies throwing half empty beer cans into a sea of people

they put on a good show...seen them 3 times.

and The Roots' free show back in Spring 2002 @ Duke was no where NEAR abbreviated...pharcyde and sankofa opened and it was a solid set

Saw them last night at the House of Blues...so I assume you'll be getting all the same guys. Best fucking live show I've ever seen...and probably ever will see. Absolutely fucking ridiculous.

And yeah..."Do You Want More" is probably my favorite. I was only a little disappointed that they didn't play "Datskat" or "Essaywhuman!?!??!" last night (but they didn't have a sax player, so maybe that's why). I was yelling them to play it right at the front of the stage. Made up for it by getting some daps from Blackthought and coming within an inch from getting one of ?uestlove's drumsticks.

And every single one of the band members was sick as shit. I don't know how a tuba player can "rock it"...but he did. And the guitar player...jesus christ he was ridiculous.
