I've eaten many a Valume before with little or no real affect.... Just mellowed me out a bit-However the one I ate last night (drunk at 4am) put me out for the count 14 hours and I woke up just a little bit ago..... I'm still groggy and a bit wobbly-Anyone know what the difference in the pill may have been? I wasn't aware that there were multiple mg sizes in valume....

i'm not sure "ate" is appropriate terminology.

VALIUMAnd if you take any thing like this with alcohol in our system it will kick your ass.I once took a percocet after drinking about 6 beers and literally had to crawl to by bedroom and couldnt even make it up into my bed. I slept on the floor next to it for a good 12+ hours.[Edited on April 16, 2008 at 7:19 PM. Reason : .]

This is a perfect example of how people die accidentally from mixing drugs and alcohol.
4/16/2008 8:29:49 PM
is it still an accident if we believe in darwin's theory?
4/16/2008 8:36:44 PM
hehehehe.
4/16/2008 8:38:50 PM
Valium + beer = prophet.jesus was a prophet.
4/16/2008 8:40:08 PM
Percocet plus beer will kick your ass to high heavens the first few times, but after taking it regularly for job-induced back pain I learned to be able to drink *a bit* with a perc or two in me. Not recommend for amateurs!!!
4/16/2008 8:46:46 PM
gimme dat percocets
4/16/2008 8:47:31 PM
I hate percocet -- it induces panic attacks. And I cannot take vicodin because it breaks me out in a horrible rash. I had a hell of a time with kidney stones because there really weren't any pain killers that I could take.

Yeah, I worked my way to Darvocet. I guess the next time I have trouble we'll continue working our way through the list. The only thing that relieved my pain was toradol injections, an anti-inflamatory.

The only really effective painkiller that I have ever had was duramorph given through my spinal cath after my c-section.I have decided that I just have an unusual body chemistry because I have unusual reactions to a number of drugs.
4/16/2008 11:03:11 PM
^lol, I have no doubt the duramorph is effective. It's straight morphine.
4/16/2008 11:06:14 PM
Hey, I wasn't sure that it was going to actually work because I've had so many problems with teh drugs.
4/16/2008 11:08:27 PM
I can't wait to get my hands on some percocet. ACL reconstruction surgery FTW

Valium targets the GABA receptors in the brain and inhibits the reuptake of serotonin. Valium is classified as a benzodiazepine, which puts it in the same general family of drugs as antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications....and everybody knows that if you're taking antidepressants you get drunk a whole lot faster. If you didn't know, you're a retard, and we forgive you.
4/16/2008 11:20:11 PM
4/16/2008 11:23:45 PM
yeah I realize that....I was just simplifying it for those who dont know.
4/16/2008 11:25:38 PM
4/16/2008 11:26:30 PM
I always found it interesting how many antidepressants are actually chemically classified as depressants
4/16/2008 11:29:33 PM
why is it a pet peeve of mine when people talk about "eating pills" or "eating fingernails" might as well drop the other shoe and eat air or eat water
4/16/2008 11:30:40 PM
yeah and eating boogers...
4/16/2008 11:31:40 PM
AlexRebbel, you did a horrible job of simplifying it.Simplified version:Valium = benzo = typically prescribed for anxiety = get drunk faster, among other things...All that shit you said about anti-depressants was total nonsense. Some anti-depressants actually inhibit your ability to get drunk.(I did a quick search. Anti-depressants have been shown to increase the effects of alcohol. And I couldn't find anywhere that said they decrease the effects so I guess I'm the only one who experienced that. Blah, I'm always wrong.)[Edited on April 17, 2008 at 9:40 AM. Reason : sss]

the date rape drug is a benzo. that should give you an idea.

So, funny story, my brother is not effected by morphine. They jacked him up so high they thought they would kill him, and still nothing from the morphine.
4/17/2008 1:48:47 PM
