Snewf..... I'm not sure how much the tickets were because we flew business class on Singapore airlines and 4 tickets were bought and not sure how much of that was paid for with miles but a shit ton I think....The flight from L.A. to Singapore was about 17 hours but honestly, since it was a night flight, and since the plane we were on had these things called space beds, I went to sleep and woke up like it was the next morning. Then I watched movies and played some video games and shit (the plane itself had a ton of shit....tv shows etc...). The flight wasn't bad at all...The flight from Singapore to Australia was also a night flight but between my screaming nephew and lack of space beds....if it wasn't for xanax I may have jumped out the plane. But I think the flight was maybe 6 hours or something.... I want to say that a flight on Quantas which would be more direct (I assume) is a couple grand or something...not sure. The flights within Australia on Quantas I think were a couple hundred one way.

I've already decided that at some point I'm coming back here and going to hire a luxury yacht and crew and sail from southern most eastern part of the Great Barrier Reef all the way to the west coast of Australia. Of course this is going to cost some serious $$ so either I'm going to have to sell my car or my body....a few times over. So yeah, won't be any time soon and I'm a little upset that we aren't going there now because my cousins have lived here for years and just now is the first time we've come to visit....

If you're still in Perth; rent a car and drive down to Margaret River.

The drive is a lot of fun (you'll see a shit ton of roos as the sun is going down) and there are some great wineries in the area.

And try to go to an AFL game in Freo.
