Danny's is good. I haven't been to that particular location, but I know that he still smokes all his pork with oak wood. I like his pulled pork, and as someone has already indicated, you can put whatever type of sauce you want to at the table. It's not Wilbur's, but it is a lot better than something like Old Time. They usually have decent sides, if you are into that. Brunswick stew, greens sometimes, baked beans. It's nothing special, but it will be better than most of the places that Raleigh has to offer. Wake County pretty much sucks ass when it comes to BBQ and country food in general.
4/15/2008 10:46:49 PM
reminds me of Colt, as in the firearm companyand dannys still sucks[Edited on April 15, 2008 at 10:48 PM. Reason : 2]

4/15/2008 10:59:27 PM
Best BBQ around is unfortunately a bit of a drive. Head up 15-501, stop before you get to the light blue land. Jim's Famous BBQ. INCREDIBLE food, can order it with the vinegar or tomato sauces, also has hot, sweet, and even that weird mustard-based sauce that you can get on it. Shitty place to work, though. Miss the food terribly.
4/15/2008 11:02:48 PM
better BBQ cannot be had by driving anywhere near 15-501. If you want good BBQ, you better be heading east.
4/15/2008 11:09:33 PM

4/15/2008 11:15:49 PM
