you guys can say all you want about "well ill never be there..."but thats on par with people who drink bud light in their trailer cause its the only thing their friends and local bars serve, believe it or not, chances are good theres something better out there
4/15/2008 7:04:47 PM
...or you could name, i don't know, local places??
4/15/2008 7:06:36 PM

4/15/2008 7:09:59 PM
how many restaurants have you eaten at in the continental US?i guarantee ive eaten at more different restaurants than you, many times over
4/15/2008 7:15:05 PM

4/15/2008 7:25:11 PM
honestlyrock-ola had some kickass chicken tenders
4/15/2008 7:27:57 PM
i dont remember listing the raising cane's in charlottesville... i listed the baton rouge one for a reasonthis thread is like the time i offered free cookout to any wolfwebber and it took like 2 hours for someone to take me up on it
4/15/2008 7:29:34 PM
if Raising Canes didn't pack their food in a styrofoam box, it wouldn't be so soggy and gross by the time u get home. and crinkle cut fries just dont work for fast food.
4/15/2008 7:31:14 PM
did you complain about how other cookouts in the continental u.s. are better than the one on western?i mean cause you have been everywhere, right?[Edited on April 15, 2008 at 7:32 PM. Reason : d]
4/15/2008 7:31:47 PM
yeah you've totally eaten more places than anyone else on herefor sure
4/15/2008 7:33:04 PM

4/15/2008 7:34:55 PM

4/15/2008 7:37:31 PM
I can not contribute to this thread because when I visit new places I don't limit my cuisine options to chicken tenders.
4/15/2008 7:39:23 PM
I wouldn't travel if the only thing I could afford is chicken fingers also usually when I'm out of town I grab steak or seafood from a decent jointnot chicken fingers from a B class popeyes
4/15/2008 7:40:44 PM
Of all the things to be pretentious about... Chicken Tenders? Not even vinylbandit would pull this shit, and thats saying a lot
4/15/2008 7:40:59 PM
no you're right colternoone else on here has ever made a thread about a food and where to find the best of that foodobviously everything is IMO, but IMO, since ive been to the places I listed AND most of the places other people listed, i can then state that i still feel, IMO, that the places i listed are better and suggest that maybe they try and get out to another place and find out for themselves
4/15/2008 7:41:16 PM
There are two restaurants in Nashville, TN that are specifically Chicken Tender restaurantsMcDougals and Otter's. Both have very good chicken tenders and texas toast which makes me and a great atmosphere (think outside on a deck drinking a beer, but not really that similar to east village), which probably adds to why they are so good. Eddie Romanellis in Wilmington also used to have REALLY good chicken tenders but they took them off the menu so apparently I was the only person who thought this was true.

THANK YOU RAINE FOR YOUR INFORMATIVE AND EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE THE WALLS OF RALEIGHlol, now im just doing it for dramatic effect

their sauce at raising cane's is the shizznit as well
4/21/2008 1:31:55 PM
Texas Steakhouse has some pretty damn good ones.
4/21/2008 1:32:41 PM
the Schwan man has some good ones
4/21/2008 1:37:36 PM
Nah, chicken tenders arent that good anyways. chicken itself is highly overrated. if i wanted bland, overcooked and overdone meats, id get some cheap lunchmeat. chicken is great if you need cheap lean protein, but other than that, beef is always a better choice. lamb, some pork products and fish are also acceptable forms of meat. turkey is the only poultry worth considering. fuck chicken.

4/21/2008 1:40:48 PM
I fear this will not end well.
4/21/2008 1:48:47 PM
my favorite is the battered kind (instead of breaded). they have them at chili's, and they're good if they cook them all the way, but i've had better elsewhere (shiny diner, some azn restaurants, etc).as far as fast food i'd pick zaxby's, then bojangles.
4/21/2008 2:00:32 PM
I make my own.... w00t! which brings up a good question... what is the best dipping sauce (I prefer honey mustard, but switch it up with bbq and such sometimes) available in a grocery store??[Edited on April 21, 2008 at 2:08 PM. Reason : a]
4/21/2008 2:04:26 PM
