Weezer.Green is fun if you take it as it is."Love Explosion" has a really great chorus.Make Believe has a meta song title that makes me laugh ("This is Such a Pity").
4/14/2008 7:30:01 PM
weezer was probably going to be one of my picks for sure.ill add foo fighters too. im not even sure why i keep getting all their albums, i havent really loved one of their albums past several records back. but there is always 1 or 2 really catchy rock songs that i enjoy from each of their new albums.

I thought they broke up... maybe he does some solo shit now or something, i havent heard anything from him in about 8 years though
4/14/2008 8:50:08 PM
if you're talking about ben folds five, then yes, they broke up 8 years agoben has 2 full length albums, 3 EP's, and a live album[Edited on April 14, 2008 at 9:00 PM. Reason : LIVE album]

4/14/2008 8:54:05 PM

4/14/2008 8:55:27 PM
Beastie Boys
4/14/2008 8:57:58 PM
Weezer for sure. Old stuff is better, but it doesn't matter Thrice. (like them all, but their style has changed a ton.)
4/14/2008 9:04:53 PM

man a lot of people love JEW, including their most recent albums. But yes, to each his own
4/14/2008 10:22:05 PM
soul asylum. hahaha, true for me too. loved "silver lining"bon jovi. even their last "country-ish" album has grown on me.don't judge me.
4/14/2008 10:26:04 PM
jimmy eat world has only put out 1 "bad" album in their career. "bleed american"

Nas Bone Thugs
4/14/2008 10:44:27 PM
I would have said Against Me if they didn't put out New Wave. I just couldn't find any redeeming qualities when I borrowed that album, so I didn't even bother to burn it.
4/14/2008 10:57:10 PM
radiohead

I may get attacked for saying this, but I will anyway:Dave Matthews BandTaken as a whole, Everyday is mediocre at best and Stand Up pretty much sucks. But each has two or three songs that are still quality tracks.

^^ i don't mind BA, but clarity is a muuuuuuch better album. i haven't really kept up with JEW like i probably should have, so i'm more familiar with their older albums.ADD: green day is another one of these bands. and i mean this more in the sense that i'll atleast listen to their cds no matter what. as big a fan as i was in middle school and high school, pretty much up until the album after nimrod came out, makes me curious to see what songs they have that aren't getting played out. i can't say that i enjoy their most recent stuff as much. but i'll atleast check it out.[Edited on April 15, 2008 at 7:41 AM. Metallica, but I really wasn't able to do it with St. Anger. I liked the Unamed Feeling so I guess that counts.
4/15/2008 7:54:40 AM
I can never forgive Weezer for Make Believe
4/15/2008 10:14:22 AM
i guess ill add death cab. even though i love all their releases until transatlanticism, their last 2 albums (trans and plans) were weak compared to their older stuff. but there were a handful of songs on each that it was impossible to not enjoy listening to / avoid getting stuck in your head.and even though both the last 2 have disappointed overall, im still looking forward to the new one.
4/15/2008 10:15:56 AM
^^a couple people have said that. i honestly have only heard the two singles, what's so bad about it?^ yeah, good one to mention.[Edited on April 15, 2008 at 10:20 AM. Reason : ]

i'm gonna go ahead and put radiohead out there. i like all their albums (sans pablo honey) a lot. but i imagine i'll continue to buy their releases even if they start to slip a little.modest mouse also kinda fits in this mold for me (though i never did buy their most recent)
4/15/2008 11:17:02 AM
MetallicaI found a couple of songs on St. Anger to be tolerable.Although I don't know if I could say there was anything I "love" about it.
