i have a little AM/FM radio with the little earbuds. its just a cheap promotional thing that has the logo of some land title company and i got it for free

anyways the battery died over the weekend apparantly.

I GOTTA HAVE IT. i cant get through the day without bob and the showgram (thank god they're back!!!1), boortz, clark howard, NPR, handleman, etc.

how long are they supposed to last? these last ones lasted 6 days @ about 7-8 hours a day... so lets round up and say 50 hours. even if i left it on all weekend (which i didnt), it would still be like 100 hours. if you can crank up a radio and have it work, it seems the batteries would last forever.

50 hours? it seems like that shitty little radio would last forever.

so im gonna buy 2 more at the gas station in a minute cause i cant take time to go to target. but later, do you think i should just buy rechargables?

i know a lot of you use headphones at work. how long should this last? also looking for ipod with FM radio, does that exist?

THANKS. HAPPY MONDAY!

the real question is

does the battery life depend on the listening volume?

[physics ftw]

^^ probably

or at least I hope so

if I have to listen to your headphones from across the room, then I hope you're forced to buy batteries more often

rechargables seem the way to go.

Just charge them up when if you go to sleep.

Rechargeables cost a bunch, but if you use them batteries a lot, you'll save money with 'em.
