anybody here good with the soldering iron? the estimates for getting this done at the manufacturer are ridiculous.

There's a guy that specifically does this on here somewhere and charges a flat 50 bucks. Heard nothing bad about his service.

dont ever take something to the manufacturer unless its under warranty.

go to any local repair shop

if youre too skeered to do it yourself, you just have to pay.
