i mean they could have easily made this by splicing the two shots together. could have easily just shot the car and then kobe jumping in the same spot in two separate takes. maybe you can see kobe's shadow on top of the car though? i didn't look closely enough.

but what they definitely didn't do is just drive the car behind kobe. if you look at the shadow of the streetlight (i guess its a light) at the bottom...kobe is right over that before he jumps...and the car drives over the same spot.

its real. kobe said the date and why would turiaf be talking him out of it? you can hear the cars engine the entire time and it drives back around during his celebration. plus its kobe fucking bryant. its not like he is bored and would try to makeup fake stunts on his spare time to get youtube attention.

also jumping over an aniston martin going that fast is not really anything near impossible. its just you risk jumping too late. Basically we know kobe has the verticle to clear the the short car and we also know he has the hangtime to last a tenth of a second for the car to pass so we knew he and many other nba players could do it. the only thing would be mistiming it and having the car reach you before you jump.

if you get the camera angle right and the car quick enough, its possible.

ok so lets say the car isnt directly in front of him, but its beside him the whole time. the jump clearly clears the whole car. yeah, might be a risk of letting him in front of the actual car. but still.

lots of people take pics/vids at different angles and it shows them clearing a car.

not a big deal. get a small car like a miata to zoom at me and ill probably clear it too
