NCSU professor and science fiction author John Kessel will be reading from his new collection of short stories. The book is titled The Baum Plan for Financial Independence and features several award-winning short stories.

The reading will be:

Kessel won the Nebula Award in 1982 for his novella "Another Orphan." In 2007, his short story "A Clean Escape" was adapted for ABC's science fiction anthology series Masters of Science Fiction.
