Tickets on presale now, just bought a pit pass ($85 w/ fees)

The other two times I've seen Linkin Park (both indoors) they were awesome. Whether you love em or hate em, they definitely put on a kickass show.

ive seen them enough (3 times), including once as the opening band at the hob in myrtle beach in 2000

id rather get a pit pass for a better show, like NIN or STP, this summer

but seeing chris cornell up close would be pretty awesome

I'm not a fan of Linkin Park at all, but Chris Cornell is playing and I just found out that
Ashes Divide (Billy Howerdel of A Perfect Circle) is playing as well, so I'll be going.

Thanks, I have to work that day and can't get over till later and just want to see linkin. I hate that it is going to cost 85+ just to see them.

saw linkin park a few months back & it was hands down the worst concert i've ever been to

only played 2 or 3 songs that weren't on their new cd, way too emo-ish w/o much energy

Their new cd is crap, you are lucky they didn't play songs from it.

Projekt Revolution was awesome last year, but I only enjoyed Julien-K (because 2 of the band members used to be in Orgy), My Chemical Romance (who I hadn't heard of until the day of the concert, but they put on a good show) and of course Linkin Park, the main reason why I went

I got 2 pit tix on eBay for $190 yesterday, so I can't wait to go. I was supposed to be working for Music for Relief (they promised pit tickets in turn for working in their booth) then I got an e-mail saying they were only giving lawn tickets and I can't deal with that soooo

it'd be bad enough going for free and sitting in the lawn

but to pay $190 to see it up close?

^ well everyone has their opinion, I've just been a major fan of LP since I was in 8th grade - don't care about any of the other bands that are there this year because I don't have a clue who they are, but the ones last year weren't that bad at all

well I know who Chris Cornell is, and I didn't know Busta Rhymes was gonna be there, which is great because my husband will actually enjoy him - but the bands I do not know

the funny thing is that their new album seems to be the first time that their singles have not had the exact same song structure, and they actually got worse.

Cornell is supposed to be coming up to the 96 Rock studios on Friday. Hopefully he will play a couple of songs because I am going to be there and that would be sweet. (wonder if he would play Billie Jean?)

I love his acoustic version of Billie Jean, the one on the album sucks though
