Still Fuchsia read more books than any of us for Book It. She read the complete works of Tolstoy in 3rd grade.

Book Off is better. But they had to settle to pay copyright holders a retarded sum of money last week.

10 points to anyone who knows what I'm talking about.

i always lost the stickers or whatever you had to use to prove you read the books.

Do you really need to encourage kids to read by giving them shitty fattening food?

Minus 10 points for offering 10 points for saying something that no one knows anything about.

Get off your high horse. Pizza is fine. Kids eat pizza anyway. It just needs to be in moderation, and personal size pizzas are a fine reward.

I hate the fucking food controllers who want to control everyone.

who was it that came up with that awful tww points system?

That user should be criticized one more time for that horseshit.

^ it's the fact that kids should be encouraged to read for their own enrichment rather than for food rewards as if they are being trained like a dog.

Ok, go talk to a kid and say "read this for your enrichment." THey'll look at you and say "What the fuck did you just say to me?"

Kids are sensory beings. They comprehend most of that which satisfies their senses.

you don't go to a kid and say "read this for your enrichment", you show a kid how to use their imagination and enjoy a book.

bribing kids to learn makes them fat and not motivated to learn when there is no candy or pizza involved.

It's really not that the pizza is fattening, it's just weird to bribe kids with food to encourage them to read.
