It is plausible that she could have miscarried on the plane and not recognized the tissue as anything more than heavy bleeding. I am not going to go into details and this large depends on how far along in the pregnancy. At 3 months, the baby is about 2.5 inches. Miscarriages can occur over several days, with the body removing the tissue. Most likely, the mother will need a d&c to make sure all the tissue has been removed.They are questioning a kid about the discovery.
