i do other energy conservation shit (efficient light bulbs, turning off things that don't need to be on, etc.) so google can suck my balls

plus i recycle so +1 to my badassery

if they had decided to do this challenge at like 2-3pm (or am) then i might do it

i wish google would have the option have a black background like this all the time. even the search results/links.

Blackle does this, but i lose my gmail links and whatnot. i tried customization but it only changed the coloration of the top segment.

google doesnt NEED to shut their servers down. just bringing that message into MILLIONS of homes is far more than any of us could do.

i actually rode the amtrak today instead of driving. about half as expensive as gas, you don't have to drive, and you don't have to pay attention.

not to mention they're supposedly one of the most progressive energy savers in the commercial transport industry.

Public transport is only energy efficient and "green" if it actually has people using it. I have a hard time believing Amtrak is particularly "green" compared to say... a plane.
