we are gonna dolly it to the eventsIvan, the airbags have been deployed since last summer when my little brother hit a parked carthe ol' "shoestring caught on the gas pedal" scenario you know, that happens to everyone, right? we just took it out for a little test spin and before we got it out of the neighborhood, p0p0 cruised by we immediately headed back to the garage
3/22/2008 2:13:30 PM

3/22/2008 8:46:16 PM
walmart sells kits with wiring, a switch, and lights for less than $20. maybe even less, been a while since i looked at them.
3/22/2008 11:16:29 PM
we were talking about mounting 4 hella lights up there.but thats $120 of lighting
3/23/2008 12:25:51 AM
you can get generic/off brand driving lights a lot cheaper. walmart has those too. the brand is "baja" or something i think.
3/23/2008 12:28:51 AM
hmmtime for a trip!
3/23/2008 12:37:19 AM

3/23/2008 1:00:13 AM
i've got a set of gravel/sand rated rally TARS if ya'll be interested. $free, i just want them back when derby time comes again (next fall). if you trash one racing, no problem. just try to keep street miles off of them as much as possible.you need some cibie's. straight old school lighting.[Edited on March 23, 2008 at 1:25 AM. 4/8/2008 6:52:11 PM

4/12/2008 12:29:38 PM
an AW11 is a horrible choice for a rally eventyou'll be the only RWD out there (there's probably a reason for that)but good luck
4/12/2008 2:38:02 PM
clutch and flywheel are replaced
4/12/2008 6:01:33 PM
update?
4/16/2008 11:55:33 AM
car is up and running. clutch has to "break in" .just gotta swap the radiator out. one year warranty FTW. its been maybe 2 months since we've had it.on of the fan shroud bolts was too long and nicked the plastic of the radiator causing a small leak. it doesnt leak much, but when i back the bolt out it comes out, still not a lot. but advance was cool and said to just bring it in. just gotta clean it up a bit
4/16/2008 12:24:55 PM
i do that with everything from advance, clean up the old part, stick it in the box and return it
4/16/2008 12:55:16 PM
btttwe had our 3rd event last sund.it was good. bad part is we de-beaded twice in one heat, caused us to pretty much end our race (race ended as we were trying to fill 'er up)next race is June 7th. should be better.re-enforced the steering wheel. and got some nice rubber.just gotta get tubes for our tires and we are pretty much ready.
5/21/2008 10:20:00 PM
how did you pop the bead?
5/21/2008 10:27:14 PM
its a race car brah, 1+G's on grass will do that
5/21/2008 10:35:42 PM
^^big time ruts (1st de-bead)and not properly re-inflating our tires to around 45psi (electric air compressor wouldnt kick it past 35 psi, plus were were in the middle of the heat, so we didnt have a lot of time) (2nd de-bead)
5/21/2008 10:48:22 PM
liquid nails on the bead, then seat the tire. you might want to keep a spare set of rims though, those tires aren't coming back off. tubes are good and probably all you need, but if you do cut one down you still have the problem of the wheel spinning inside the tire or it coming off the bead/rim and getting wadded up in the fender locking up a wheel.
5/21/2008 11:19:02 PM
5/21/2008 11:44:53 PM
set em up
