When I was out in CO skiing with some friends last week we rented one of these. I'm always the driver, so this is what we got.

I'd never driven one before but really enjoyed it. Great sightlines out of the interior front and rear. Despite being huge I didn't have any problems manuveuring in parking garages. It felt a little anemic on the power department, but I mostly blame that on the high altitude (80% of the driving was above 9000ft). Good in the snow, and plenty of room for 5 guys and skis (screw roof racks).

Fuel mileage for the trip was around 15.5mpg though, yikes. Then again I'm never one to be timid with the throttle

15.5 MPG really isn't bad when you consider the size and the fact that you were in the mountains. I mean, there are plenty of vehicles with half the seating that get similar or worse MPG numbers. I'm somewhat impressed with Chevy on that one.

Lowest I had the average mileage (courtesy of the trip computer) was 14.1, hehe.

I got a kick out of the display telling me when it was in V4 mode, mostly b/c it only deactivated the cylinders when I was coasting, lol.

my 5.4L f150 always got 13mpg... 10 when towing my boat... MAYBE 16 on the highway...

so I'd say 15mpg is pretty acceptable for a vehicle of that size

Soccer moms regularly navigate these with ease. Don't come on here bragging or being shocked that you did the same thing a 5'3" 120lb woman can do.

Doesn't sound like he is bragging to me. Sounds more like he was just commenting on how well thought out the vehicle is.

15.5 mpg in the trip computer, and 15.5 mpg in reality are two different animals.

^^Thank you. There's always someone trying to be a hater

And besides, in my experience most soccer moms can't drive their large SUVs for shit.
