I used to be really flexible when I was in gymnastics back in the day but over the years I've lost a lot of it. Do anyone of y'all know ways to get flexibility back? Is it just a matter of stretching, or is there more to it?

Stretching for flexibility should be done always at the end of workouts, as mentioned above. Stretching briefly before an activity, then getting a five-ten minute warm up, and stretching more extensively then is designed to prevent injury, but without all of the blood flow and relaxed muscles, does not improve flexibility.And for flexibility, you will only want to stretch those body parts that you used extensively in your workout.

Stretch after working out or jogging.Breathing deep, lengthen while you exhale.Remember your calves, hamstrings, back, and neck all stretch in the same direction.Likewise, your tibialis, quads, abs, and front of neck stretch in the same direction.Oh yeah, and weed helps your threshold. I did yoga frequently after I hurt my back a few years ago.I gave up after 6 months when I realized that hour long class consisted of 5 minutes of me seriously stretching followed by 55 minutes of me trying really hard not to fart.
