So roommate bought a westinghouse HDTV a couple weeks ago. Been working great and then all of a sudden the HDMI ports don't work anymore with any of our computers. We tried it on 3 different computers running both vista and xp, and with 2 different hdmi-dvi cables. The tv keeps trying to get a signal then saying "no input". Nothing has changed, and the only thing i can think of is the tv went bad. Do HDMI ports on hdtvs just stop working??-fixed it. apparently roommate bought a cheap ass TV. Had to hard reset it 4 times. Been trying to fix this for days. DON'T BUY CHEAP WESTINGHOUSE TVS!!![Edited on March 15, 2008 at 7:51 PM. Reason : ..]

I got a westinghouse 1080p real cheap last year. the firmware is definitely flaky, but the price was right.

i had the same thing happen when I got my PS3 about a week ago. Go to there website http://www.westinghousedigital.com and under support there is a firmware update section. Put in your serial number and your model and it should give you a file to download and you can update the firmware yourself with a flash drive. I did it last night, took about 4 minutes.[Edited on March 17, 2008 at 7:11 AM. Reason : doubled the link]
