So my girlfriend is doing a 6-week study abroad stint in Mexico this summer and she's apparently supposed to present her host family with a gift. Something that is native to North Carolina and is under $20.

I've stayed with two host families, but one was in MD and one was in NC... I got one a nice bottle of tequila and a bucket of mix for margarita (that may not work in Mexico) and got one a nice ass fruit basket... Whatever it is, it probably definitely shouldnt be under $20 since they put your ass up for a month and a half
