This and NBA jam ruled so hard back in the day. does anyone still have it? I've been longing to play it recently.

I liked Rogers Clemens baseball on NES

they didnt have the players association license so they all had fucked up names that were similar to thier real names

like the Yankees had J. Jessfield and Montreal had G. Allaraga

Baseball Simulator 1.000 changed the game though (on NES)

they had the stop ball which literally stopped...or the rocket hit where if the fielder caught it, the momentum of the ball would carry the fielder out to the wall

Bases Loaded was the first game I remember where if you beaned somebody they might charge the mound

i remember in griffey on snes where if you just sat there and didn't pitch the ball for like 5 minutes the umpire would turn around, "tap" on the inside of the tv screen, and say "play the game, kid"

I never played the baseball one, but I loved NBA Jam. I remember playing as Steve Urkel and George Clinton, then dunking from half-court.

god i used to be obsessed with this game. My friend down the street and I spent hours editing every lineup to have all of the real player names and batting orders and everything for that particular season. Then we played an entire full length season. It was awesome.

I still have both Griffey's for the SNES, haven't played them in forever though.

I use to be the shit with the Braves, they use to have some awesome pitching(think their ace was Barker maybe?) and Crimedog was the man at the plate.

Yeah I also edited all the names to reflect the actual players. Then one of my brother's friends pulled the game out while the power was still on and it erased everything and put the names back to the generic defaults.

I always thought Tecmo Super Baseball was a much better baseball game on SNES. It was hard as hell to find, though. I had to order it through some magazine.

Bad News Baseball on NES was a lot of fun.

Major League Baseball (also on NES) by LJN was fucking terrible (there are a couple of reviews on YouTube).

Bill Laimbeer, a basketball player at the time known for his aggressive style and sex appeal, was the sponsor.

Did the same EXACT thing. My friend got the sports page and we went through the entire lineup of every team.
