Howdy,I'm selling some old music stuff i don't use anymore.#1. SX Fender Jazz Bass clone from rondomusichttp://www.rondomusic.com/sjb573ts.htmlIts a darn nice copy that i bought for my gf. She used it once. Its been used like.. twice. no shit. Still in the cardboard box it was shipped in. Its a great clone and sounds great. Great reviews on harmony central, etc.#2 Old Ampeg VT-40 Reverb. Its a great old all tube amp. Loud as shit and sounds really nice for some warm smooth bass and clean guitar, too. Real spring reverb. I'll get some pics in a bit.For now here is a pic and some info:http://www.grouseguitars.com.au/realnote/ampeg.htmlThis amp used to be a combo as shown, but the speakers/cab was cut off and a board was screwed to the bottom making it a head. Works just fine.I'm entertaining offers at the moment.[Edited on March 11, 2008 at 10:40 AM. Reason : sasas]

how many watts is the amp?
3/13/2008 3:00:41 PM
"40" although technically its more like 60-70watts. It uses two 35 watt power tubes in push/pull.If its good enough for the Rolling Stones, its good enough for you

how the hell are you going to push anything bigger than a single 10" driver with a 40watt bass ampi'm not knocking it, i'm just suprised. i'm sure it sounds amazing i love my ampeg combo, though it's a 220-watt with a tube preamp, 15" driver and high-end horn...sucker is LOUD, LOUD, LOUD[Edited on March 14, 2008 at 8:25 AM. paerabol, thats because your amps has a solid state power amp. a tube power amp plays MUCH louder. This amp started life as a 4x10" combo amp, btw. It'd push an efficient 15"/horn combo no problem. For reference, i've played shows w/ my 18watt all tube guitar amp pushing a 4x12" cab with no PA'd guitar no problem.a good all tube 50watt Marshall half stack is actually too damn loud for all the normal/smaller venues in raleigh from a proper sound mixing perspective. Unless youre playing pristine clean stuff, i'd rather overdrive a smaller tube amp and mic it through the PA. Nothing sounds better than an all tube guitar amp on 10. but i done digressed.

how much for the amp

I'd consider $250 in a week. I have seven bites from raleighmusic and theyre all waiting on pictures so i'm hoping for a little more.
