http://meetingresistance.com/I heard about this film nearly a year ago now and have been following it since. I just watched it tonight. I'm not sure it told me anything about the Iraqi resistance that I hadn't already heard, but it challenged some perceptions I had about the motivation and composition of the resistance, at least in the early part of the war (2003 - 04 time frame).I highly recommend it.

Well, if you're looking for an angle or for political fodder, it isn't for you. It was bascially ~90 minutes of insurgents discussing why they fight. They all give a background and then what movtivates them. The only identified speaker in the whole movie is an Iraqi professor, the rest are identified as "the Warrior", "the Syrian", "the Traveler", "the Wife", "the Teacher", etc. If there is enough interest by people on this forum whom I don't think would ruin it, I might consider screening it for 10 or 15 people one night if someone had a place we could all watch it.That is kind of a big "if."
