I have been looking at one bedrooms within 15 minutes of NCSU. I am a grad student graduating in the winter. I have been meaning to check out Ivy Commons as the reviews have been high. I checked out 'the summit' and 'lake johnson mews' which seem to be nice. I like the fact theyre by the lake while still in the AVF and Gorman area. The other place I have been looking at is 'marquis at crossroads' which is the nicest of the bunch but is off Jones Franklin (about 1/2 way between Tryon & Western). It is not by the lakes and is a longer drive to campus but it seems to be a nice community and I like the mgt better. Any opinions? Would I be a bitch moving into the gated marquis? Would I miss the lake at the summit and mews?
