No. You break the rules, you pay the consequences. It's not like they didn't warn them.

^^i totally disagree. if they don't enforce the rules to some degree, the primary schedule moves will be even more fucked up next time than this year.

what benefit does it serve to Michigan and Florida to let Iowa and New Hampshire set the tone for the entire primary?

that's not the point.
I, and many others, agree that the primary system is fucked up as it is and there is no particular reason to always have Iowa and NH first.

But, the DNC clearly laid out the rules last year, and FL and Michigan broke the rules, fully aware of the consequences. If they were bad rules to begin with is inconsequential. They must follow them, then they can make some suggestions on how to make things better for the next election. But just ignoring the rules because they don't like them doesn't make anything any better.

I wanted to make a thread called, "Should ink and paper be brought into this?" and then post a pic of a donut. But this isn't chit chat and parodies are frowned upon.

I hope they get back in and then hillary wins the nomination, only to loose to mccain in the general election.

the best thing would be for hillary to win the super delagates, but loose the popular vote. The Democratic party would implode.

The best thing is to have our political process further tarnished in the eyes of voters so we can continue circling the drain as a nation.
