I just use all the BBC Planet Earth 1080p movies for dreamscene. Work really nice as backgrounds. Kinda distracting though.

i wonder how badly this will affect performance on my laptop (the only computer i have with vista ultimate)...it's got a dedicated GPU and 4gb of RAM (IIRC, =it uses the GPU, not the CPU, and it's not memory-intensive, though i could be wrong)EDIT: i see that wikipedia says that it will significantly compromise the battery life of laptops and might display a static image when running on batteries...i might give it a shot when it's plugged in, though[Edited on March 5, 2008 at 1:53 PM. Yeah i wouldn't recommend it on a laptop. I'm able to have a 1080p video set for dreamscene, then like 4 other 1080p vids up in other video players. Then when you cycle through them using the aero thingy it's really cool cause they're all moving as you cycle through!

If you don't have gladiator running as your background then you've clearly failed ever measurement of manhood.

^well considering Gladiator isn't out in HD yet i'd never put a standard def dvd as my background. Would look horrible.

Planet Earth sounds good...BLUE PLANET SOUNDS BETTER!! yeah!episode: the deepbtw, im running it on my laptop and it automatically turns static when you go on battery so no worries about battery life[Edited on March 5, 2008 at 9:15 PM. Reason : f]
