hating is a far cry from general off-color stereotypical humor. i find the trends quite entertaining, actually.

it's funny, all the way from Alize in the early 90s to Hennessey, etc, about 90% of the black people I've ever encountered in a bar drink whatever some numbskull in a rap song touts as the new cool beverage. What's funny is that now Patron is all up in rap songs, and have seen a massive upswing in Patron sales to AfrAms. Actually, I know it's not "funny', per se, but it's worth noting. And, there are many black folks up in arms that we don't care some drink P Diddy started to make.

I'll leave you with this: and it's somewhat akin to the argument, "I'm not racist, I have black friends," but still....some of my best friends rock the emo look. Some actually wear women's jeans. On the same end, I have good friends who wear huge New Eras, strange colored Timberland boots, etc. It's no reflection of what kinds of people they are, really, I realize. But I certainly give them shit for it from time to time. It doesn't mean I'm right about anything, it just means I find it funny. Hell, I'm probably just a boring dresser.
