What happens to the pictures when the person photographed removes the tag on facebook - is there any way to find that picture?

If you remember whose album it was in, you can find it that way. Just takes a fuckload longer.

I had this monkey looking girl tag me in a pic where she's trying to kiss me while i'm not paying attention... that pissed me off.

(i was dating someone at the time so an explanation was required)
