nader is officially running for president again (green party)now all we need is for ron paul to get on the ballot as a libertarian
2/24/2008 10:22:09 AM
<--- not voting for Naderwould vote for Paul
2/24/2008 10:26:36 AM
I think Paul already said he wouldn't run as a libertarian. If a pro-war/big-spending party doesn't want him, then he's out of the race.
2/24/2008 11:00:54 AM
can you write in in NC?
2/24/2008 11:06:38 AM
You can write in anywhere, baby.
2/24/2008 11:38:36 AM
You can write in anybody, but unless they have gotten enough signatures to be a certified write-in candidate in North Carolina, your vote counts for nothing (I think that's right--I might have made it up).p.s. Nader, my man, you've done some great things in your time, but seriously: fuck you, buddy.

somebody, somewhere ... could be deciding that their life's calling is the job of becoming an assassin.I mean, it ain't me... I got a kid to raise. Besides, JoeSchmoe officially disavows using murder as a political tool....But I wonder who it might be.[Edited on February 24, 2008 at 1:13 PM. Reason : ]
2/24/2008 1:10:52 PM
i wonder how nader feels for causing us to go to war with Iraq
2/24/2008 1:29:45 PM
He's older than McCain.
2/24/2008 1:51:03 PM
this seems appropriate:
2/24/2008 1:56:37 PM
@ShinAntonio: If you think Nader has accomplished nothing with his life, you are highly misinformed. Unsafe at Any Speed alone has marked him as one of the most influential people in the public realm in the 20th century.I fucking hate him for 2000, though.
2/24/2008 2:01:55 PM
2/24/2008 2:02:13 PM
This is unbelievable, he must be a closet Republican.
2/24/2008 2:20:45 PM
^^^No, I'd rather not acknowledge that and say "fuck you buddy". Not putting down what he's done, just skipping to the point.[Edited on February 24, 2008 at 2:27 PM. Reason : done]
2/24/2008 2:26:42 PM
Stop bashing Nader. It's people like you guys that force us to have to vote for "The Lesser of Two Evils" every Presidential election. Having a two party system is a failure.
2/24/2008 3:04:21 PM
oh oh, will they have police with tasers outside the voting area ready to subdue anyone who doesn't vote for the major candidates?
2/24/2008 3:14:56 PM
All we need is Bloomberg to jump into the race and we can have a free-for-all in November.(Personally, I think a Bloomberg candidacy will have a greater impact on the results than a Nader one.)
2/24/2008 3:21:36 PM
even better
2/24/2008 3:24:35 PM
haha if you leave Paul out you would get
2/24/2008 5:39:30 PM
McCain's got a lock, now.

i went to Nader's website, because I hate myself apparently, but came across this gem.
2/24/2008 7:53:01 PM
^They can still be charged for crimes they committed while in office.
2/24/2008 7:59:10 PM
2/24/2008 8:17:03 PM
2/24/2008 10:07:45 PM
People are engaged and will turn out for this election, and understand it is too important to throw a vote at another Ralph Nader ego trip. He won't get 0.5% this time around.
2/24/2008 11:03:58 PM
2/24/2008 11:28:02 PM
Well, I can only hope it will draw votes away from Obama. However, I doubt even the Greens would be dumb enough to pull another Gore-Bush 2000.
2/24/2008 11:30:47 PM
That would mean Nader would be the only candidate running that wants to pull ALL the troops out of Iraq. I'd vote for him over all the other candidates.
2/24/2008 11:37:47 PM
^^^ The system wasn't built that way though. The US has had multiple parties for the first hundred years and some change of its existence. It's a fairly recent 20th century thing, the 2 party system. Somewhere along the way, the military-industrial complex contorted our politics to what it is today. It has evolved.
2/24/2008 11:42:01 PM
^ im not so sure about that... its been FPTP voting and a two party system since early-to-mid 19th century, long before Eisenhower's warning^^^ wait, let me get this straight, socks... you're saying if your gal Hillary loses the DNC nomination, you're going give your vote to the Republican candidate? interesting.
2/25/2008 12:04:13 AM
i'd still vote for the democrat or the republican before i'd vote for nadar or paul
2/25/2008 12:24:42 AM
morgan vs brunsonfor realyou guys like each other

THE BLOOMBERG IS ALL CRUSHING
2/25/2008 12:56:54 AM
i'd prolly vote bloomberg before i'd vote paul or nadar or clinton[Edited on February 25, 2008 at 1:01 AM. Reason : but not mccain/obama]
2/25/2008 1:01:20 AM
Go, Nader, Go!
2/25/2008 1:27:36 AM
2/25/2008 9:25:50 AM
Nader will have no effect this year. 0.
2/25/2008 9:48:36 AM
^^well damn, my bad (I've made an ass out of u and me)
2/25/2008 9:53:45 AM
Yeah, adding Ron Paul to the ballot would really make it a four-way battle.
2/25/2008 10:20:33 AM
i can see paul pulling maybe 5% if he got in it...which is about 5% more than nadar will geti'd also like to post that i am psychic and the next person will be dead on balls accurate]
2/25/2008 10:30:12 AM
I couldn't care less if Nader is on the ballot. More power to him, but he's not going to pull enought votes to influence anything a la 2000.
2/25/2008 10:37:48 AM
Nader's in it to win it.
2/25/2008 3:08:06 PM
When's this guy gonna learn? If a green ever wins it's not gonna be Nader.
2/25/2008 3:12:38 PM
I think Nader knows he wont win. I think he does this to get the message out about the environment. What are some of his other policies, Id like to look at them.
2/25/2008 3:16:05 PM
Nader / Kucinich '08
2/25/2008 3:17:58 PM
