nah, on that "life after people" show (discovery channel? history? i forget...either way, it was entertaining), they said that people can go there, that the radiation risk is minimal...i wouldn't suggest staying there for a week, though

ditto...i find ghost towns and places like chernobyl in general to be fascinating...i don't know what the government's rules and restrictions on it are, but i'd totally go if i knew i could get in...maybe go for a few days, take a few days away, and then head back again
