I think the new S Class looks much better then any mercedes previously built save for the Gulwing.

for some reason, I've always liked the look of W126 better than W140. I don't know about the reliability difference between the two models though, maybe the W140 is better in that area.

i had a w126 for a minute a few years back. solid car, but only had the 2.6. i think the w220 is about the best looking of the group. i just can't quite get over the front end of the w221. i'd rock the HELL out of a w108 too... preferably the sel with the 6.3. pure class.

i (almost) liked my little w201 the most of all the mb's i've driven. rock solid feel of the big cars with the handling and performance of the roadsters. a nearly perfect mix of everything good from mb in the 80's.

Me too, especially the coupes. The w140 coupes always seemed a bit chunky-looking to me, whereas the w126 had the long, low look going for it. I'd love to own a w126 560sec at some point...

The 140 ain't bad though, especially in 600sel form as posted.
