I'm not 17 and I couldn't be emo if I tried.

I do have a lip ring though... stuff like this just comes with it.

I like the idea behind the Warped Tour, but I just don't think any of the bands I'd like to see would be any good in a large venue. It's just not the same.

I remember seeing The Bouncing Souls at The Lizard and Snake in Chapel Hill. That place probably held 125 people max. It was so awesome. The mic was passed. Everyone quoted their favorite 80's movies. It was the shit. I saw them five or six more times in the late 90's (the brewery, cat's cradle, etc.) and they always did a good show, but I just don't care to see them at a big corporate venue.

I've seen Against Me a bunch of times ranging from when they were playing small clubs to headlining a packed show at the Cat's Cradle (what's that, like 1000 people?) New Wave is a terrible album that they'll be ashamed of one day. Add the corporate environment and I wouldn't even consider seeing them at the Warped Tour.

WTF is GBH still touring for? Aren't they like 50 years old? Good old band. I've got their stuff on vinyl. Don't care to see them now though.

Raleigh gets a decent rotation of bands that will rock your night. There is no need to get caught up in this shit.

what are you talking about, this isn't a "big venue" per se, there are multiple small stages. AM! will prolly be on a relatively large one, but it's not like seeing someone at the walnut creek main stage from the lawn.. it's easy to get a good spot and such.

I saw AM! a few months ago and they didn't play much from New Wave, thank god. I got a drumstick!

I'd go see Against Me in a heartbeat if they played the Cat's Cradle again. New Wave didn't make me forget all their previous albums or anything.

I associate corporate venues with tons of sponsors (advertising everywhere), $8 beers and having to wade through idiot kids, douchebag 25 year olds trying to get laid, and terrible security just to watch a band play some songs.

I might like the band, but I'll see them elsewhere. The Warped Tour just doesn't draw me in.

The only reason I could think of to go to this is that there will be tons of girls there with lots of pussy ass dudes. That's not enough of a reason to cut off my scrotum and listen to this emotastic lineup though.

the only three i'd care about would be pennywise, dillinger escape plan and the vandals. seems like the target audience for these festival shows are teenagers.
