Basically to use in a conference room with a big ass plasma so my laptop's display can be on the tv without any wires... I've found plenty of them but my question is more aimed at personal experiences or other advice regarding a solution. So, any recommendations on brand or model, etc would be appreciated.Thanks.edit: I'd prefer a small one, the range doesn't have to be all that great--like 20-30ft at most but I'm trying to avoid having a big ass box connected to my laptop to do this...[Edited on February 10, 2008 at 7:53 PM. i've never used one that worked exceptionally wellhttp://www.amazon.com/Linksys-WPG54G-Wireless-G-Presentation-Player/dp/B0001NA394but that one is passableno dongle or anything to connect, it uses wifi and some client software you put on your machinedownside: you lose connectivity to your company's wifi infrastructure... but if you can plug an ethernet line into this box, it can act as an access point as well.

Thanks, that one looks pretty reasonable

^^That is not a wireless VGA adapter. That thing fucking SUCKS BALLS. The best you are going to get for VGA is either 1024*768 at about 10-15fps (aka only good for non-animated powerpoint) or 640*480 at 30fps (okay for dvd/web quality video playback). From my experience they ALL basically suck ass. You'll be better off just spending 50 bucks on a 50ft VGA cable, and routing it up through to the conference table.

now that I think about it... I can just hook the laptop up to the monitor directly.. as long as I have a pair of mouses and keyboards with enough range (gonna use bluetooth ones..) it'll be fine, no reason to have the actual laptop right in front of me as long as I have control over it
