I have a manual 1998 Saturn SL2 that has 180,000 miles on it.Needs some work. The radiator, thermostat and water pump were replaced last year in June at a very reputable shop in Raleigh. The engine is strong, but you would need to keep watch on oil levels. Doesn't seem to be leaking oil, but Saturn's of this era tend to go through a lot of oil the higher they get in mileage.Car has new brakes as of December of '07Tires in good shapeRegularly maintained (ie, oil changes) at family shop.Power windows/locksCD player (does not play burned CD's, only factory CD's)Has s sunroof/moonroof, but it only tilts up, the motor will not work for it to slide back. The problems that need to be immediately addressed are as follows:1: Although many parts of cooling system have been replaced (as listed above) two days ago the light indicating that there may be a problem with the cooling system began to blink. The mechanic that fixed the above mentioned parts of the cooling system said I would eventually need to get new hoses to completely fix the overheating problems. They quoted me about $250 to do this. The car is not overheating when driven, but if you sit in traffic for more than 15 minutes it will slowly start to go up in temperature.2: In December '07 the Blower Motor on the heating & A/C systems broke. The heat and A/C DO work but only when the car is in motion.3: Turn signals/hazard lights DO NOT work. Fuses have been checked and that is not the cause of the problem. The headlights/high beams and dash lights ALL WORK fine. Just the blinkers and the hazards. This has caused me to fail inspection. So car needs to be inspected but should pass once the blinkers are fixed. And lastly, the headliner will need to be replaced. The paint is still nice and glossy but has some minor scratches but no dents or dingsI purchased the car 3 years ago from Saturn of Chapel HillI am asking for $1200 (obo) The reason is as follows:According to Kelley Blue Book the car is worth $2,020 in FAIR condition which as you will read below defines the condition of this car.Fair condition is defined on the http://www.kbb.com website as follows:# Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition.# Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional.# Tires may need to be replaced.# There may be some repairable rust damage.PLEASE NOTEPotential buyers are more than welcome to take it to a mechanic and have estimations on repairs. But the car is at my relatives house in Sanford, NC. I cannot keep it with me in Raleigh as I would have to park it on the street and since it is no longer insured I can not park it in the street. So potential buyers will have to arrange to see it/drive it in Sanford, NC. Sanford is 30 minutes south of Raleigh and 45 minutes south of the durham/chapel hill area. I am available to do this on Tues/Thurs/Sat afternoons.Serious inquiries only. The car is Royal Blue. I will have photos posted later in my gallery.Anyone interested please email me ourestate2008@gmail.com

I was going to loan the car to my friend as a joke, so every 300$ really matters.
