OK, only kidding about the rich part.

here's the deal I'm shooting some video to be used in a new 30: halftime spot for NC State
that will air nationally during the rest of the ACC season highlighting centennial campus.
I'm looking for a diverse group of perhaps 3 or 4 students for a shot walking in front of EB1.
Would like to get the shot sometime Thursday 2/7, which would take maybe 15 minutes tops to shoot.
Sorry, we don't have any budget for this. (saving YOUR tax dollars)

i have complained SO MUCH about how incredibly crappy our halftime spots are in comparison to everyone else's

i would have offered to try and make a new one but i didn't know who to talk to - NOW I DO! lawl

please tell me that they're going to be better.

I don't know if evan was being positive or negative about the spot that he linked to.
I will say that it was a very slick, expensive production.
looks like 35mm film, high quality talent and post production. big bucks!
we have done such spots in the past, hired out of house at a cost of $60,000 plus.
for things like the "we all go to nc state" or the "we are the hunters" spot.
there are big agencies and big money driving these things. This spot is being directed by an agency
out of Charlotte, but because of budget and time concerns, some footage wil be used that we shot from previous projects. Footage that was shot in video as opposed to film and not scripted, or shot with a halftime spot in mind (pretty much the flagship PR, media outlet for a university).
Having said that, skuzlo is just a humble servant of "the body" and does the best he can with the resources at hand. Now having said that, there will be an aerial shot that skuz shot using a tyler nose mount rig on the front of a bell jetranger last summer. Some bucks were spent on that day.
