well i have pop up blocker on exploder and mozilla at work.

it seems like everytime i get a green inbox, i get the bar on the top of the page that says something about an ad has been blocked. but i never click on it becuase im not sure what it is.

now is that a possibility that a green inbox triggers ads?

i was just seeing the word ad and skipping over it

maybe your pop up bocker has a setting that blocks sounds?

its probably blocking whatever player you have set to play audio in web browers. So if you have some piece of shit like quicktime/itunes or god help you real player installed, it may be trying to pop that player or give you a pop up to install the web plugin for that player.

I just got an expand-on-rollover ad that popped out at me even when it was scrolled off the screen, while browsing a thread in Old School. It was for some SUV (lol specific).
