i think when gotskowski kicked the kickoff out of bounds, belichek was like "fuck" and thats why they didnt try the ~39 yard FG later in the game

needless to say, I'll bet Vinatieri is laughing his ass off!

^^wouldnt it have been a 38 yarder when it was 4th and 2 and they were gonna punt and then it ended up being 4th and 13 or something ? cant recall, but either way, i dont think belicheat trusted gotskowski in a clutch situation, especially after muffing that kickoff out of bounds

i think gotskowski's career long is 52yds back in '06

its kind of hard to trust that on a 49yd kick in the Super Bowl after you kicked it out of bounds once already...
