Anyone tried or heard of it in North Carolina??It's HUGE down here in Charleston. At my bar we probably go through at least three or four one-liter bottles a night on the weekends just making shots. It's 70 proof with a lot of caffeine. I hate vodka...and I could chug this down all night. Good alternative for the people who take shots to "wake themselves up" when its late in the night and they don't want Jager-bombs or Shaved Beavers. Also good to sip on the rocks and can make a ton of different girly martinis.I went home to NC over Christmas and couldn't find it in the liqour stores (although I live in a really small town). But a good friend from Charlottesville said he had never seen it in the bars up there but was able to snag a bottle from the liqour store after Christmas and is now in love with it. A good friend in Athens said the bars there don't have it. I've always found it interesting that different areas have such different drinking trends. I know Charleston and Baltimore are the largest consumers of Grand Marnier and Tuaca respectively because everyone there drinks them in shots (when they're mainly for snifters). Nowhere else in the country is like that. I worked in a bar in Wrightsville Beach and we might have gone through a bottle of Grand Marnier in a month...where we go through about a bottle and a half a night here.So I was trying to figure out if the double espresso vodka has made its way to Raleigh or other places yet. [Edited on February 3, 2008 at 11:09 AM. Reason : "could chug this down all night"....i usually stick to the grand marnier]

^I forgot all about that.I have tried the Patron Coffee shot on several occasions...its pretty good, but the Van Gogh Double Espresso is much much better. Two bars across the street from mine got rid of their Patron Coffee when the Van Gogh got so popular.

^Haha...good stuff. I used to gag at the smell of Sambuca. Now I rather enjoy it. Its funny how if you drink enough of something you start to develop a taste for it.
