on espn.com now there is a senator that wants to investigate the tapes from Spygate and find out why they were destroyed. since when did the government make sports a top priority? We have no energy policy, an economy that is about to go into recession(if it isn't there already) and a merriad of other problems, yet they waste their time with this shit?

^^ you are forgetting that the government rarely fixes anything anyway. I don't want the government trying to fix college football, or mess with the NFL. GTFO, sick of seeing politicians who know nothing about sports, don't follow sports, can't even say the players names correctly use sports to try to get face time on television during an election year.College football and the NFL are both booming industries, maybe they should be telling the government how to run shit, not the other way around.
